EGL2 joins the fun at Peterhead’s Picnic in the Park

On a sunny day in July, we joined Peterhead families at the popular Picnic in the Park, part of the town’s Scottish Week celebrations.

It was great to meet residents, answer their questions and share information on how this critical project will support the UK’s energy transition. 

We welcomed visitors of all ages to our stand, from those curious about how EGL2 is being built, to young people eager to explore careers in the energy sector. Our STEM circuit activities were a big hit, and some lucky residents won tickets to Aberdeen Science Centre in our colouring competition. We were delighted to support this community event.
